FUTURE TENSE
A. SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE
Merupakan suatu pekerjaan atau peristiwa yang belum terjadi dan akan berlaku dimasa akan datang.
RUMUS :
SUBJECT + SHALL/WILL + VERB. I + OBJECT
Contoh kalimat :
1. (+) : I shall invite you tomorrow night
(-) : I shall not invite you tomorrom night
(?) : Shall I invite you tomorrow night?
2. (+) : Susi will buy a new dress next month
(-) : Susi will not buy a new dress next month
(?) : Will Susi buy a new dress next month?
3. (+) : We shall go to Prapat next week
(-) : We shall not go to Prapat next week
(?) : Shall we go to Prapat next week?
B. FUTURE CONTINOUS TENSE
Merupakan suatu pekerjaan atau peristiwa yang akan sedang terjadi pada masa yang akan datang.
RUMUS :
SUBJECT + SHALL/WILL + BE + VERB. I + ING + OBJECT
Contoh kalimat :
1. (+) : I shall be going to Medan next week
(-) : I shall not be going to Medan next week
(?) : Shall I be going to Medan next week?
2. (+) : Ani will be making a cake tomorrow
(-) : Ani will not be making a cake tomorrow
(?) : Will Ani be making a cake tomorrow?
3. (+) : Lucky will be singing in the class tomorrow
(-) : Lucky will not be singing in the class tomorrow
(?) : Will Lucky be singing in the class tomorrow?
C. FUTURE PERFECT TENSE
Merupakan suatu pekerjaan atau peristiwa yang terjadi dan selesai pada masa akan datang yang sudah dimulai dari masa lampau.
RUMUS :
SUBJECT + SHALL/WILL + HAVE + BEEN + OBJECT
SUBJECT + SHALL/WILL + HAVE + BEEN + VERB. III + OBJECT
Contoh kalimat :
1. (+) : We shall have been here until last December
(-) : We shall not have been here until last December
(?) : Shall we have been here until last December?
2. (+) : They will have punished you next week
(-) : They will not have punished you nect week
(?) : Will they have punished you next week?
D. FUTURE PERFECT CONTINOUS TENSE
Merupakan suatu pekerjaan atau peristiwa yang terjadi pada masa lampau dan masih akan sedang terjadi pada masa yang akan datang.
RUMUS :
SUBJECT + SHALL/WILL + HAVE + BEEN + VER. I + ING + OBJECT
Contoh kalimat :
1. (+) : We shall have been going to Medan next week
(-) : We shall not have been going to Medan next week
(?) : Shall we have been going to Medan next week?
2. (+) : She will have been visiting you tomorrow night
(-) : She will not have been visiting you tomorrow night
(?) : Will she have been visiting you tomorrow night?
3. (+) : They will have been coming from Surabaya next year
(-) : They will not have been coming from Surabaya next year
(?) : Will they have been coming from Surabaya next year?
